The photo was taken in Jasper national park, Canadian Rockies, Alberta Canada. Just after 10 PM, at the end of long, cloudy summer day, then the sun disappear behind the horizon, it's suddenly emerged behind the clouds and for few moments light up just the top of Kerkeslin mountain, reaching almost 3000 meters. It was difficult to restrain the excitement that seized me, in front of this celebration of nature beauty: Bloody red color of Kerkeslin peak in contrast with bluish color of cool Athabaska falls water. Canon EOS 5D MKII + Canon EF 17-40mm f4 L lens; 2.5 sec at f/11; ISO 100; Polarizer, 2 stops soft ND Grad filter, tripod.
